北京人，中国摄影家协会会员。1986年参加中国摄影家协会函授学院学习，1994-2010年供职于雅昌文化集团，参与公司创建及经营管理工作，主要服务于中国艺术文博机构、艺术家、和艺术品市场。期间于2005年加入企业家摄影协会（深圳），任协会副主席至今。2010年移民加拿大，2013年组建企业家摄影协会（深圳）北美分会任主席。2019年当选企业家摄影协会（深圳）执行主席。

　　Wang Yan, a native of Beijing, is a member of the China Photographers Association. In 1986, he participated in the Correspondence School of the China Photographers Association.From 1994 to 2010, he worked for Artron Art Group and participated in the company's creation and management.He mainly served in the Chinese art and cultural institutions, artists, and art market.During the period, he joined the Entrepreneur Photography Association(EPA)in 2005 and served as the vice chairman of the association. Immigrated to Canada in 2010, and established the Chairman of the Entrepreneur Photography Association(EPA)North America in 2013.
